VDM SPEAKS ON WHY TERRORISM WON’T END IN NIGERIA SOON

VDM has dropped one of his most direct and uncomfortable truths yet — insisting that terrorism in Nigeria will not stop anytime soon, and may even double in the coming years unless the country confronts one root cause with brutal honesty.

According to him, 80% of Nigeria’s terrorist groups and kidnappers are Hausa-speaking Northerners, yet this same Northern population contains some of the:

• Most hardworking people
• Most loyal people
• Most honest and least materialistic people

Northern youths power construction sites, farms, markets, and daily manpower sectors — carrying the nation on their backs. But their humility and hard work also make them vulnerable.

A population without education is easy to manipulate.

And that is why VDM insists:

➡️ The only long-term solution to terrorism in Nigeria is EDUCATION of the North.

Not politics. Not propaganda. Not military raids. Not speeches. Education.

He explained that many Northern children grow up with zero formal education — learning only religious practices they cannot read or interpret. This makes them easy to recruit, mislead, and weaponize under religion or hunger.

“Give them food, a little money, misinterpret the Quran — and you have an army.”

He warned that even if international forces wipe out every current terrorist camp:

“You cannot bomb ignorance. You cannot bomb poverty. You cannot bomb an entire generation.”

VDM acknowledges that former President Goodluck Jonathan attempted the educational shift but lacked time and execution. What Nigeria needs now is a leader with:

• Vision
• Courage
• A structured long-term plan
• Policies that enforce schooling
• Systems to remove children from street begging
• Educational enlightenment for families

Until then, he insists, terrorism will not end — and Nigeria will keep paying the price.
