VDM BREAKS DOWN NGO SPENDING RUMOURS — “EVERYTHING HERE NA MY MONEY”
🟦🏛️ VDM Responds to Claims of Using NGO Money for His New Headquarters
Full transparency. Full receipts. Zero fear. Zero guilt.
VDM has responded — loudly, clearly, and with evidence — to those accusing him of funding his new Ratel Headquarters with NGO money.
First, he showed his screen: He had already spent ₦15 million that very day — from his personal funds.
“I don spend 15 million today. Not NGO money — my money.”
Pointing around the entire conference room setup, he emphasized: “Everything here na my money. No be NGO money.”
According to him, the total investment he has personally poured into the headquarters exceeds:
⭐ **₦40 MILLION** (and counting)
From solar installations to furniture and equipment, every major cost was carried by him.
VDM listed some of the biggest expenses:
- Inverter upstairs: ₦4.7 million
- Total inverter setup upstairs + downstairs: ₦8.7 million
- Solar installation (total not yet calculated)
- All chairs, tables, cameras, lights, wiring: his personal money
He added:
“NGO money is for NGO work. If we chop am, we are cursed.”
He explained that the NGO has done only ONE financial action so far:
- Paid part of the rent to secure the building for two years
And even that, he said — he still paid half of the rent personally.
VDM explained why the accusations don’t make sense:
“If I used NGO money do all this work, the NGO account for don dry since. The money no reach anything for wetin we dey build.”
He added that other influencers with far less audience buy houses and cars with their earnings, but he has chosen to invest in something bigger:
“Me, I choose to throw my own money away — on people. On the movement. I like to brag, and the only way I fit brag is by helping people.”
WHAT THE NGO MONEY WILL ACTUALLY BE USED FOR:
- Borehole projects for water–scarce communities
- A Ratel Learning Center for free skills & handwork
- Nationwide community cleanups every month
He made it clear that the NGO money has a specific mission and will remain untouched for anything outside that mission.
“Poor man pikin don get influence now. If una like, talk nonsense. Una go learn — and una go learn the hard way.”
