TINUBU ADDRESSED NIGERIA FOR OIL — BUT NOT FOR HUMAN LIVES
🟦🔥 VDM to Tinubu: “You Can Declare Emergency for Oil, But Not for Human Lives”
A brutal comparison between political urgency and human neglect.
VDM has called out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for hypocrisy over the recently declared “national security emergency,” reminding Nigerians that this same president once moved with lightning speed — not for lives, but for oil pipelines.
He took Nigerians back to March 18th, 2025, when Tinubu addressed the nation on live TV after alleged pipeline vandalism in Rivers State.
No videos. No evidence. No identities. Nothing till today.
- Quoted Section 305 of the Constitution
- Declared a state of emergency
- Suspended Governor Sim Fubara and his deputy
- Installed a retired military man
- Deployed heavy security to Rivers State
All within hours.
Yet today — with terrorists invading, abducting, and killing across states — Tinubu remains silent.
- Church attack in Kwara — 38 abducted. No address.
- School abduction in Niger — 312 children taken. No address.
- 52 kidnapped in Nassarawa. No address.
- Girls kidnapped in Kebbi. No address.
- Terrorists return to Kwara — pregnant woman and 10 children taken. Still silence.
“You can address Nigeria for oil, but not for human lives?”
VDM reminded Nigerians that this same administration once prepared to invade Niger Republic — showing “shocking political energy” — yet cannot show the same urgency to defend its own people.
“Which soldiers were you planning to send to Niger Republic? The same ones you cannot use to fight Boko Haram?”
VDM didn’t hold back, calling the situation a “disgrace, shame, and national embarrassment.”
He even referenced Donald Trump’s controversial remark describing Nigeria as “a disgrace nation,” saying: “Now you see why he said that.”
VDM also blasted the new recruitment campaign:
“Now you want Nigerians to join police and army? A force with poor welfare? A system where some officers even aid terrorists? Is this how to lead a nation in crisis?”
He said the President’s priorities reveal the real issue:
“Tinubu addressed Nigeria for oil. Tinubu suspended a governor for oil. Tinubu deployed soldiers for oil. But Tinubu cannot address Nigeria for human lives.”
Nigeria, he said, is under siege — attacked on all sides:
- Children kidnapped.
- Mothers taken.
- Communities burned.
- And yet — the President is silent.
“Trump was right. Nigeria is a disgrace — and this situation proves it.”
