VDM EXPOSES FAKE VIDEOS & AGENDA TARGETING BURNA BOY — SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT

VDM has finally broken his silence on the sudden wave of propaganda videos targeting Burna Boy — a coordinated storm built on recycled clips, troll accounts, and intentional misinformation.

It all began with a viral clip showing protesters shouting “F Burna Boy,” claiming:

“We don’t want Burna Boy here. His career is finished. Even his hometown has rejected him.”

But VDM immediately recognized the location — FIRS Headquarters, Area 11, Abuja — and the year: 2020. The clip was from the End SARS protest, not anything recent.

“Agenda people are not well,” he said. “Someone posted a 2020 video like it’s happening now.”

The propaganda deepened when a fake account posted a story about a girl allegedly kicked out of Burna’s show.

• The account was created July 2022
• The username had been changed six times
• It had a history of running agendas against celebrities

Meaning: the girl never released any statement. The emotional story was fabricated to manipulate Nigerians.

Next, they claimed Burna Boy lost 100,000 followers.

The screenshots they used showed:

• 18.5M followers with 103 posts
• 18.4M followers with 74 posts

Meaning: the screenshots were from different years. When VDM checked, Burna Boy was still at 18.5M followers.

The same troll account recycled another old lie:

“Fans ignore Burna Boy on stage.”

But VDM found the exact same video posted by the same account in April 2023 with the caption “dead crowd at Coachella.”

In other words: this troll has been doing anti–Burna Boy propaganda for years.

Then came the stadium lie.

A clip of an empty stadium — recorded in broad daylight — was shared with captions like:

“Burna Boy didn’t sell out his show.”

VDM responded:

“Shows happen at night. Why are you filming an empty stadium in the afternoon?”

Meanwhile, actual fans posted sold-out footage from the concert.

VDM then addressed the real issue:

✔️ Burna Boy did not treat the girl properly — he owes her an apology. ❌ But Nigerians failed by joining foreigners to attack our own.

“Normally, we yab ourselves in-house. But once it reaches international level, we defend our own. Nigerians broke that rule because of propaganda.”

VDM reminded everyone:

• Burna Boy has two Grammy Awards
• He fills stadiums even American artists can’t
• He pushed Afrobeats globally
• Davido, Wizkid, Burna, and now Rema built this global wave

Destroying one of them with fake narratives is harmful to the entire Nigerian music industry.
